Discover World-Class World Heritage at Stevns Klint

Stevns Klint is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because it is the best place in the world to witness traces of the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs and more than half of the Earth’s flora and fauna 66 million years ago.

There are many ways of experiencing Stevns Klint and the World Heritage Site. But, whichever way you choose it is big – in fact, huge. You can visit the sites, which are situated along the cliff like eight pearls on a string, you can walk along the Stevns Trampesti (a hiking path) or join a guided tour. Download our folder Discover Stevns Klint.

The layers in the cliff reveal one of the biggest events in the history of the Earth: the asteroid impact, which contributed to the extinction of the dinosaurs and half of the Earth’s flora and fauna 66 million years ago.

There are some who call it a disaster. We call it the start of the life we know today.
